Introducing Delos

Delos is a journal on wealth management and financial mobility written for AI-native individuals navigating significant net worth.

High net worth individuals have been not treating any single country as home base for everything for long. Instead they're deliberately spreading those things across several jurisdictions, the way an investor spreads risk across assets. Not because they're leaving anywhere, necessarily, but because relying on one place for everything has started to feel like an unhedged position.

We believe that a similar shift is happening to founders and early employees at fast-growing companies, whose wealth isn't originally diversified at all. It is usually concentrated in one company, one currency, one country's tax code, one cap table, and it often arrives suddenly, through a liquidity event, a tender offer, a vesting cliff. There are people building companies whose financial lives are frequently anchored to wherever they happened to incorporate or happened to be living when the company took off.

Delos intends to discuss opportunities related to wealth management, planning and financial mobility, such as citizenship-by-investment programs and international real estate portfolio building. However, we believe that applying these concepts today should include tools that elevate productivity and enable AI-assisted decision making. Therefore, besides articles such as this one, we will release some tools focused on agentic access.

Anyway, we will be publishing regularly on these questions, in long form, without the sales pitch. If you're building something and starting to wonder where the equity, the tax residency, the eventual liquidity event actually lands, this is where we'll be thinking it through in public.
